Dutch cybersecurity researcher Vaisha Bernard from Eye Security is ranked number one worldwide on the Microsoft Security Leaderboard, which ranks researchers based on the quality and impact of their responsibly reported vulnerabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem.

The #1 ranking not only underscores the technical depth of Dutch security research, but also the importance of responsible disclosure and collaboration between researchers, vendors, and users. This makes vulnerabilities more visible, better understood, and structurally remedied—exactly what our digital resilience depends on.

Achievements such as these show that craftsmanship and perseverance contribute to a more secure digital foundation directly. Not through grandiose language, but through consistent and responsible research that strengthens the entire chain.

Within the Dutch CISO Community, we see this as a positive sign for the ecosystem we are all part of: research, practice, and governance that reinforce each other.

We congratulate Eye Security and Vaisha Bernard on this recognition and look forward to further collaboration between research, suppliers, and the CISO community.
