Session — AI Governance, Talent & Responsible Adoption
The speed of AI adoption requires new competencies, processes, and safeguards. CISOs must balance innovation ambition with ethical and security guardrails. This session provides practical governance models for scaling AI across the business. Participants identify how to upskill teams and manage operational change.

AI agents that pass an initial security checks and still become unsafe during operation. Unlike traditional software, agentic AI continuously interprets inputs, tools, and instructions from potentially untrusted sources, creating new attack paths such as prompt injection, tool poisoning, and over-alignment failures. Using practical examples and governance lessons from Dutch Railways, Rens van Dongen explores agentic AI reshapes software development and maintenance, and what defense-in-depth strategies help organisations govern agents without blocking innovation.
